Abstract
The present study aimed to evaluate the blood coagulability and fibrinolytic activity in thrombotic patients during the venous occlusion test. Subjects were 7 healthy adults and 16 patients with myocardial infarction, 2 patients with cerebral infarction. Measured were ATIII, PLG, α2PI, P-C, TPA, VIIIC, VIIIRAG, FPA, FPBβ15-42. Before occlusion, mean levels of VIIIRAG in the venous blood were higher and those of P-C were lower in patient group than in control group. After 10 minutes' occlusion, there was no significant difference noted in increase rate of VIIIRAG and TPA between patient and control groups. In conclusion, Venous stasis induces the release of TPA and VIIIRAG without significant difference in increase rate of these substances between patient and control groups. However, the lower level of P-C and higher level of VIIIRAG observed in thrombotic patients indicated that patient group was in hypercoagulable state.
