Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of ski resort environment on ski injury-related psychological disturbance factors. This study was conducted on 233 skiers (163 male and 70 female) in February 2017. For data analysis, PASW 18.0 version was used for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Variables of this study consisted of factors on environment of ski resort and ski injury-related psychological disturbance factors; sub-factors on environment of ski resort were user convenience, staff service, facility cleanliness, facility safety, and comfortable space and sub-factors on the ski injury-related psychological disturbance factors were accident, technology, environment, and other people. The results were as follow. First, facility cleanliness of factors environment of ski resort had negative significant effects on the accident and technology factors. Second, the comfortable space of factors environment of ski resort had negative significant effects on environment factor. Third, facility safety of factors environment of ski resort had negative significant effects on other people. Therefore, in order to reduce the ski injury that may be caused by environment of ski resort, it is necessary to be careful about the facility cleanliness, facility safety, and comfortable space on the environment of the ski resort and prevent it from happening in ski to prevent the ski injury from happening in the ski injury.
