Abstract
article presents issues related to the steam turbines blades developed by the designers of JSC The Ural Turbine Works. of the main types and packet of blades elements is presented. operation conditions of the blades, typical manufacturing technology and materials used are given. various methods of protection against erosive wear are considered, as well as ways to increase the reliability of blades. examples of typical damages of blades are given: abrasive wear, mechanical damage, destruction of blades, erosional wear, corrosion damages, standstill corrosion, and breakage of stellite laminas.
