Abstract

The article reviews the issue of whether the digital transformation of law has touched the main investment law concepts that include such terms as investments, investing, investment activities, investment project. The author concludes that these legal concepts have not been changed in the digital economy conditions. In the author’s opinion, investment activities in the digital economy conditions mean systemic, independent and professional activities of investment agents that are qualified investors or information system / investment platform operators, while the concept of investing is used in respect of one-off non-systemic investment actions by non-qualified investors, including with the use of information systems / investment platforms.
