Abstract

FSUE «VIAM» developed alloys VZHL738, VZHL792 and VZHL939 for casting large-sized blades and vanes of gas turbines with medium and high power (from 25 to 280 MW and above) to ensure the technological independence of the Russian Federation from foreign deliveries. Industrial technologies for production of these alloys, which allowed import substitution, also were developed and created an alternative to overseas supplies. In addition, single-crystal corrosion-resistant heat-resistant alloys (VZHL738M and economically alloyed) with high heat resistance at operating temperatures up to 1000 C for promising new generation gas turbines have been developed.
