Abstract

Chronic viral hepatitis B and C distinguishes oligosymptomatic course, hidden development of liver cirrhosis, which is 40% of liver cirrhosis in Europe and the development of liver carcinoma with lethal consequences. Significant medical and social danger of widespread chronic hepatitis due to the fact that 25-30% of patients the disease progresses and leads to the formation of fibrosis and cirrhosis. It is not conducted clinical and postmortem studies effects of chronic viral hepatitis, insufficiently studied clinical and morphological and immunohistochemical features of cirrhosis and hepatocellular liver cancer in patients with CVH. The paper analyzed the literature for the past 10 years on the effects of chronic viral hepatitis B, C and B+C. Established that despite significant advances in the study of the pathogenesis of HVG, C and B+C, morphogenesis and mechanisms of progression of fibrosis and cirrhosis today is not developed effective approaches to inhibition of these processes; to date no clear criteria for microscopic progression of chronic viral hepatitis B, C and B+C with the additional use of histochemical and immunohistochemical techniques, which depend on the choice of optimal treatment strategy of patients.
