Abstract
The article examines the novelty of domestic legislation in the form of consolidating the concept of a large family at the federal level, presented in the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 23, 2024 “On measures of social support for large families”, analyzes its role in regulating relevant legal relations, and identifies its practical significance.
