Abstract
In the article, the author reveals some aspects of the linguo-cognitive peculiarities of travel blog discourse, substantiates the relevance of studying these features in the light of current researches and analyses domain databases and conceptual spheres. Attention is focused on linguistic ways of implementing strategies to stimulate cognitive intents, ways of a person’s self-presentation in travel blogs, as well as on some aspects of self-communication. Theoretical propositions are illustrated by examples from the most popular travel blogs in English.
