Abstract

This study is to examine the structural relationship between positive psychological capital, job enthusiasm, and innovation behavior. In response, a total of 257 copies of airline employees of domestic airlines were used for the final analysis. The collected data were subjected to multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 22.0 Statistic Program. The results of the study are as follows. First, positive psychological capital had partial positive influence on job engagement and innovation behavior. Among the factors of positive psychological capital; hope, optimism, and resilience had positive influence on job engagement. Self-efficacy, optimism, and resilience had positive influence on innovation behavior. Second, job engagement had a positive influence on innovation behavior. Third, job engagement was verified as effective on mediating between positive psychological capital and innovation behavior. Practical implication and suggestions for future research are also discussed.
