Abstract

The purpose of the study is to study the transit and logistics capabilities of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's continued development in the non-oil sector is critical to the country's economic growth. Transport and logistics is one of the areas highlighted by the government with the prospect of major growth and expansion. In 2016-2020, Azerbaijan carried out work on large projects for the construction of transport infrastructure. In the near future, the capital of Azerbaijan, located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, will become an important transport and logistics center in the region. Transport and logistics in the Caspian Sea is a priority for Azerbaijan. It is expected that the ports on the territory of Azerbaijan will become one of the leading trade and logistics centers in Eurasia. All this brings great political and economic dividends to Azerbaijan, strengthens the country's position in the region and the world, enhances the political and strategic importance of the state.
