Abstract
The study analyzed the socialization and adaptation of people with intellectual disabilities to society, their problems in communicating with others and in the occurrence of everyday worries, and as a result of psycho- emotional instability in the conditions of crisis phenomena in the life of each of them and society as a whole. The study revealed factors that influenced the occurrence of shock and fear in the beneficiaries, their fatigue and depression under the conditions of the influence of military actions on them. The study showed that it is important in the work of a psychologist to achieve the stabilization of the mental, emotional and physical states of people with disabilities due to intellectual disorders, conducting trainings, a clear work plan for getting out of a depressive state, working with parents to establish a favorable atmosphere in all aspects of the lives of people with special disabilities psychoemotional needs as a result of intellectual disorders. Methodical approaches in determining the needs and identifying the possibilities of beneficiaries in social adaptation in the existing conditions have been improved. According to this, modern methods for regulating and stabilizing the unstable conditions of the beneficiaries have been introduced. Among the main areas of the psychologist's work are the skills of self-control in stressful and crisis situations, occupational and art therapy, which contributed to the identification of the potential capabilities of the individual, the stimulation of coordinated work in groups for the performance of both individual and and group tasks, active promotion of the development of aesthetic taste, creative imagination. The average weighted intellectual development needs and physical capabilities of each beneficiary and their family's ability to perform household and independent tasks are considered. The impact of measures introduced by the psychologist on the development of intellectual abilities, improvement of friendship skills and mutual assistance and social interaction with people in new conditions is analyzed. In the course of the study, the most effective methods of working with recipients that gave a positive result were singled out.
