Abstract

The article describes findings of empirical study concerning the problems of child abuse in Moscow. The analysis is based on Moscow schoolchildren’s assessment. Specific characteristics of relationships of teenagers with people around them in the major areas of risk are revealed – in families, in educational institutions, in the streets – as well as in the places where conflict situations could arise. The types of child abuse, their intensity and underlying reasons have been described.
