Abstract

Today, life without communications is very difficult to imagine. Humankind is accustomed to the fact that we always have water, gas, heating, and industry - gas and oil pipelines, which are necessary for their functioning. These communications have always been, are, and will be, and the process of their construction and consequences, their construction, have always been «wished for a better one». Today, science and technology are out of place, so the process of constructing these communications takes on a slightly different kind, such as trenchless laying of pipelines and pipes, that is, without destroying the soil surface and minimizing the wasted power. Persons interested in smuggling, through smuggling, will certainly be interested in this method, so it is necessary to analyze these technologies in order to effectively counteract them in the future. This article analyzes the current methods and tools that can be used to carry out surface smuggling at the state border in order to determine the priorities for developing a range of measures to combat them. The area of use of trenchless technologies is described as a means of trenchless laying of pipelines, with the possibility of sub-surface smuggling at the state border, and the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies are described. The main technical characteristics of installations that perform work on horizontal directional drilling. The infrastructure of settlements, which are located in the immediate vicinity of the state border and in which trenchless technologies can be used, is analyzed. The most dangerous areas for the implementation of subsurface smuggling, which first of all need to be counteracted by the method of georadar scanning, are considered. Keywords: state border, surface smuggling, underground communications, trenchless technology, horizontal directional drilling.
