Abstract

The article emphasizes the importance of investigating the concept of ideology within the sociological approach. This will provide an opportunity to identify the mechanisms of its functioning. Sociological discourse is considered by the authors as one of the potentially effective tools of political influence and propaganda. It is noted that the sociological discourse is characterized by a specific set of propaganda and manipulative techniques and technologies, which leads to the propaganda impact of sociological discourse on mass political consciousness. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the properties of the gain propaganda sociological discourse; critical reflection is subject to a number of studies in the sphere of politics, which were carried out well-known research centers of Ukraine. The authors conclude that under a divided society sociological discourse is gradually becoming a source and an effective tool for enhancing social separateness, forming a gap between social groups. Naturally, the decision of the contradictions that exist in the system of sociological knowledge it is a long and complex process, so the authors only outlined the existing problems, not predicting future trends in the development of social science.
