Abstract

The article is devoted to the investigation into the texts of the legends of the Golden Gates of Kyiv, published by M. Grabovs'kyj (1845) and P. Kulish (1847 and 1856). The author envisages not only the history of the text, but also its ideological and artistic peculiarities.
