Abstract

In this work, a study on the temperature reduction method of a photovoltaic module was conducted. The temperature reduction characteristics according to the number of anti-contamination coatings on the surface of the solar cell module cover glass sample were confirmed. The heat dissipation characteristics of the module according to the number of coatings were compared by irradiating a 250 W halogen lamp for 1 hour. Based on the secured optimal coating conditions, the solar cell module cover glass was coated with the optimal number of coatings, and then three different heat dissipation sheets were attached to the back side of the back sheet to compare the heat dissipation characteristics of the manufactured modules. By applying an optimal anti-pollution coating to the front of the solar cell module and attaching a heat dissipation sheet to the back, it was possible to secure a temperature reduction effect of up to -4.65℃.
