Abstract
The paper discusses the problems and features of development of the resort and recreational complex of the North Caucasus Federal District. The author has formulated the principles of the concept of a unified information system to improve the management of the resort and recreational complex of the North Caucasus Federal District. Introduction of municipal information systems for the resort towns and territorial information system for the North Caucasus Federal District level is proposed. Their components are described in detail. The proposals developed will allow increasing the paces of development and economic efficiency of the resort and recreational complex of the North Caucasus Federal District.
