Abstract

This study estimates the innovation efficiency of information service industries using data envelopment analysis. For the input oriented BCC DEA analysis, I use the number of employees and innovation expenses as input factors and total sales as an output factor. And Kruskal Wallis one-way ANOVA has used to find differences between efficiency distributions by the R&D operation type. In the results of this study, the results show polarization of innovation efficiency score. And it is better to operate R&D center as needed than operate own research laboratories.
