Abstract

The research aimed to identify the level of awareness and application of knowledge management at the University of Sirte from the point of view of its faculty members. The research community consisted of all faculty members working at the university, which amounted to 656 faculty members. The research sample consisted of 242 faculty members, and to achieve the research objectives, it was Preparing a questionnaire that, in its final form, consisted of 30 statements divided into six dimensions.: awareness of knowledge management, knowledge generation, knowledge organization, knowledge application, knowledge circulation and sharing, and difficulties in applying knowledge management. The results of the research showed that the level of awareness and application of knowledge management at the University of Sirte from the point of view of its faculty members is moderate. The research also concluded that there are difficulties facing the application of knowledge management, most notably the weakness of the infrastructure and the availability of electronic devices necessary to apply knowledge management. In light of the results, it was presented The research is a set of proposals and recommendations that contribute to addressing the difficulties facing the application of knowledge management.
