Abstract

The article deals with the problem of senior preschool children musical education by means of folk improvisation, which is necessary for the formation of spirituality, morality of young citizens and the solution of national values issues. In modern conditions, the problems of humanization of society, revival of national spirituality, and the formation of a harmonious personality are acute in Ukraine. In solving these problems, a significant role belongs to the level of aesthetic human culture, its involvement in artistic life, that is a powerful factor in the formation of the sensual world of personality. Using creative potential of art, in particular music, one can really enrich the inner world of a person; contribute to the reformation of his spiritual orientations. Music has a powerful influence on the child’s inner world; it affects child’s feelings, excite the little listener, causes corresponding reactions, acquaints with national traditions, customs and ceremonies, beliefs, culture, and carries to the beautiful. The works of musical art deeply penetrate into the soul of a young child, forming an interest in highly artistic music. Vivid musical works that reflect the world of beautiful and versatile feelings of personality, can cause emotional response, influencing the aesthetic perceptions. Meeting the musical and aesthetic culture of peoples positively affects the formation of aesthetic judgments, assessments, the attitude of children of the senior preschool age to the knowledge of themselves, man, society, art. Proceeding from the depths of Ukrainian history, musical folklore has a peculiar “code” of the Ukrainian nation, which was carefully transmitted from generation to generation. Vivid imagery of the folk tunes music language, their performance, containing elements of improvisation, play, dance, recitation, colorful costumes make them accessible for understanding and performance by children of preschool age. The study of the peculiarities and pedagogical possibilities of Ukrainian folk music proves that it is an interesting, simple and accessible musical material for perception, and is a unique means of forming musical improvisation abilities in preschool age.
