문헌정보학 교육과정의 특성화된 프로그램 개발 및 활용에 관한 연구

Abstract

지식정보사회에서는 다양한 분야를 널리 아는 것보다 특정 분야에 특성화된 전문가를 원하며 그러한 전문가가 높이 평가되고 있다. 따라서 특성화된 전문가를 양성하기 위해 교육목표와 교육방향을 설계하는 대학 및 학과들이 늘어가고 있는 추세이다. 문헌정보학 교육과정도 대학의 목적을 달성할 수 있고 도서관 현장의 요구에 부응할 뿐만 아니라 현재의 대학 자원과 환경을 바탕으로 개설되어야 할 것이다. 정책과 자원과 환경은 대학마다 다르므로 각 대학의 특성에 맞게 특성화된 교육과정을 개발할 필요가 있다. 즉 표준화된 교과과정이 아닌 특성화된 교과과정의 운영과 정책이 필요하다고 본다. 이에 본 연구에서는 특정 대학의 처한 환경과 상황을 고려하여 교과과정을 운영하는 특성화된 교육 프로그램을 제안하고 있으며 정보전문가로서의 보다 전문화되고 특성화된 자질을 갖춘 전문가를 양성하고자 한다. In the era of knowledge and information society, specialists with a specific concentration are more appreciated than broad knowledge. Therefore, it is a growing trend that universities and departments restructure their vision and plans to foster specialized professionals. While responding to the needs of working libraries and adhering to the basic educational goals, the Programs of the library and information science sector should be flexible to the external changes. In this sense, each university should develop customized curriculum based on its related policies, resources, and surrounding circumstances, with an emphasis on specialization over standardization. This paper discusses how to build specialized education programs in line with specific environments that each university is surrounded with, and by doing so, raise information professionals with specialized concentrations.
