Abstract

Nowadays, the teacher is called to solve the important task of preparing young people for life in the information society. This necessitates the formation of strong basic knowledge in the field of informatics, the ability to search and use the necessary information. The article considers the specifics and features of the lesson of computer science in primary school. The author emphasizes that the formation of information and communication competence is actively taking place in computer science lessons. Nowadays, the lesson remains an important form of organization of educational and cognitive activities of students (including younger students). This form has many positive aspects that allow you to achieve effectiveness in mastering key competencies. The author notes that the specifics of computer science lessons are the active use of computer technology and a significant amount of practical work. In addition, it is important to choose the right type of lesson depending on the location of the lesson within the topic, its content and objectives, the age of students, their own experience. Each type of lesson corresponds to a structural sequence, which today may vary in some way. The structural elements of the lesson havetheir tasks, logically interconnected and aimed at achieving the overall goal of the lesson. Features of each stage of the lesson of computer science require the use of appropriate methods and techniques that should be appropriate for this stage of the lesson. The mainmethodological approaches to the lesson of computer science in primary school, the author identifies: operational, technological, task and problem. The article notes that the lesson of computer science in primary school must meet certain requirements: structure, content, process, training, organization, techniques. Adherence to certain requirements provides a motivated mastery of educational material and mastery of skills and abilities to use computer technology to solve various situations of their own lives.
