Abstract

The article examines the processes of the determinologization of colloquial words, the despecialization and determinologization of aviation terms as a result of the interaction between common colloquial vocabulary and aviation terminology in the Russian, English and German languages. The author considers domestic and foreign linguists’ views on terminologization and determinologization, differentiates the conceptions “despecialization” and “determinologization”, discovers the stages of these processes, identifies the common features of terminologization, specialization and determinologization in the Russian, German and English languages.
