Abstract

Human health directly depends on the safety and quality of food products, which are also determined by the conditions and methods of their production. Among the methods of agricultural production, there are two main types: traditional and organic. It is believed that the consumption of food products that are saturated with various dangerous compounds (nitrates, heavy metals, pesticide residues, herbicides and other substances of chemical synthesis), which are used in traditional methods of production, leads to the occurrence of various chronic diseases in humans and ultimately worsens the health. It reduces the quality of life. Also, with organic methods of production, the environment has no destructive effect. Therefore, the implementation and proper legal regulation of the organic production method is urgent.
