Abstract

The present dissertation aims to study the organization of events and more specifically of digital events. With the help of the literature review we were able to analyze all the benefits that digital events offer in the modern era, in a year when the pandemic and covid-19 limited personal contact and replaced the physical presence in a conference room. As digital events are expanding and becoming the main ones, both in professional and personal situations, thus setting the offline ones by the wayside, the question is whether digital events are able to offer similar benefits as the offline ones. The events are one of the results of the need of a person for socialization, for the sense of security that the integration in a group will give them, as well as the possibility of expressing their creativity. The events were created not only to distract from the ordinariness of everyday life, but also to offer people the chance to network with like-minded individuals for future collaborations. Naturally, technology could not be part of the events, until they go electronic and become digital. Nowadays, they are important and relevant beyond time, not only because the pandemic did not allow live events to be organized, but because through an electronic device can participate many who could not be physically present in the past, with one registration very easily and simply. After all, without digital events, which are a way out of everyday life in a time of pandemic, it is unlikely that a new era would have begun that would adapt businesses and the public to this new reality.
