Only a common vision, combined with an interdisciplinary approach, will allow a holistic coverage of a scientific topic and focus on the search and objectivity by combining in an interdisciplinary study, and will be able to provide the labor of the nature of a completed systemic study. Note that only a systemic vision and the use of theoretical and conceptual foundations in combination with scientific methodology makes a holistic coverage of modern Ukrainian- Polish international relations. Therefore, for the study of the topic of Ukrainian-Polish cooperation in thefield of international relations, it will be important to have a systematic method aimed at obtaining objective and reliable results. The diagnostic method should be used as a tool for assessing the effectiveness of cooperation in the implementation of international policy. The historical method will contribute to the analysis of the features of the implementation of the development of international cooperation of these countries at different historical stages. The comparative method will allow to study the peculiarities of Poland's foreign policy and reveal its possibilities of using it in Ukraine. In the study of the historical process of formation and development of relations between Ukraine and Poland, such fundamental methodological principles as historicism and objectivity are applied. Based on the use of the principle of historicism, the processes are considered in their sectoral and historical context, and priority areas for development between the two states in the short and long term of Ukrainian-Polish cooperation are determined, filling them with real content and weight in the context of Euro-Atlantic integration. The principle of historicism encourages us to consider modern interstate bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland in their evolution in the light of a qualitatively new system of international relations, allows us to highlight the main stages and priority areas in their development and reveal the content of cooperation between the two countries, generalize the influence of internal and external factors, specific circumstances. the current state and strengthening and deepening. It should be noted that an important regularity of Ukrainian- Polish international relations is their constant evolution and dynamics. Therefore, the study of these relations on the basis of the new world order requires theoretical understanding, rejection of established stereotypes and dogmas, abandonment of traditional and development of new approaches to understanding these international relations, their influence on the state and development of international relations and strengthening their place and role in the life of these countries.
