Abstract

In order to verify the relationship between health status, sense of crisis, and health promotion behaviors of middle-aged men and women participating in health rehabilitation exercise, this study conducted a questionnaire survey targeting middle-aged people participating in rehabilitation exercises at hospitals and rehabilitation centers located in the metropolitan area. There are 218 copies of data used for statistical analysis. Through this procedure, the following results were obtained. First, as a result of regression analysis on the relationship between health status and sense of crisis, emotional crisis was found to be significant in mental and physical health factors. Factors with a sense of loss of vitality were significant in physical health factors, whereas life dissatisfaction, marriage dissatisfaction, and child relationship were found to be significant. As for the dissatisfaction factors, it was significantly found in the mental health factors. Second, as a result of regression analysis on the relationship between health status and health promotion behavior, both physical health and mental health were found to be meaningfully explained. Third, as a result of regression analysis on the relationship between sense of crisis and health promotion, it was found that all factors of emotional crisis, loss of vitality, life dissatisfaction, marriage dissatisfaction, and child relationship dissatisfaction were significantly explained.
