Abstract

The article is devoted to the integration of archaeological, antropological and forensic research in the field of experimental modeling of the destruction of the human body. The prospects of using forensic and criminalistic developments for the interpretation and reconstruction of the archaeological costume, in particular on the establishment of the exact ratio of the subject complex with specific elements of clothing, are discussed. A comparison of the results of forensic and archaeological experiments showed a strong displacement of individual parts of the body and the subject complex of human clothing during the destruction of the body. This conclusion allows us to return to the assumption that the object complex of clothes and personal jewelry found in burials should often not be considered by archaeologists as a priori discovered in situ.
