Abstract

Nowadays modern preschool education highlights the formation of communicative competence of preschool children as one of its main tasks. Practice shows that children communicate less and less with adults and peers in everyday life, and spend more time on gadgets. This leads to the fact that children's speech activity loses its brightness and the activity of replenishing the stock of words, and partner interaction in the process of children's activities. The purpose of the article is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the features of the formation of communicative competence of older preschool children in the process of constructive activity. The solution of such research problems determines the logic of the presentation of the studied material in the paper: analysis of the state of the investigated problem in the theory and practice of preschool education of older preschool children; determination of criteria, levels, indicators of the formation of communicative competence of older preschool children in the process of constructive activity; description of the experimental verification of the conducted pedagogical research. Methodology analysis, generalization of scientific, educational, and methodological literature on the researched problem, synthesis, observation, survey, questionnaire, experiment (declarative, formative, control stages of research); quantitative and qualitative analysis of empirical data. Practical implications. Conclusions and recommendations can be used in the practice of work on the formation of communicative competence of older preschool children in the process of constructive activity. For educators and parents, the website "Play, construct, create" has been developed, which contains methodical content for implementing pedagogical conditions for the formation of communicative competence of older preschool children in the process of constructive activity. The website contains the following sections: home page, morning circle, exercises, educational activities, useful information, and comments. On the main page, there is an in-person meeting with the author of the site. The website is designed for preschool education professionals, as well as for parents of older preschool children. Value/originality. The communicative competence of preschool children is considered as a component of speech development. The child needs to master the phonetic, lexical, grammatical, monologic, and dialogic components of speech; to form in children the skill of partner interaction. The constructive activity of a preschool-age child is almost the most interesting form of spending time for children, although it is a complex cognitive process, as a result of which children's intelligence develops: they learn practical knowledge, learn to distinguish and characterize the features of structures and their details, establish relationships and connections between details and objects. During constructive activity, constructive creativity is involved in children, which is a complex set of mental and practical actions of the child. It is in the process of constructive activity, in the children's creation of various models or constructions from building materials, that children communicate with each other during the creation of products; share construction materials among themselves; express their ideas; and describe what they want to build.
