Abstract

Background. As a result of the negative impact of military combat factors, a significant number of servicemen who took part in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) or Joint Forces Operation (JFO) need medical and psychological support and medical care. Presented materials anable us to assess the state of health, the organization of health care and social protection of military personnel who were treated at the outpatient clinic (OC). Purpose of the work was to conduct analysis providing medical assistance to combatants by OC of National Military Medical Clinical Center (NMMCC) «Main Military Clinical Hospital» (MMCH). Material and methods. The study was conducted in OC NMMCC «MMCH» in the period from 2017 to 2019. Number of assigned patients, incidence and purpose of patients` visits to general practitioners and other specialists, the number of military personnel directed to military-medical and medical-social expert commissions were analyzed. We analyzed data from: logbook accounting patients at outpatient clinic (form 74/о), outpatient medical cards (supplement to medical book), statistical coupons for registration of final (specified) diagnoses (form 025-2/о), logbook of registration and informed consent to provide personal data combatants – participants in ATO (JFO). Diseases of servicemen in the OC were established in accordance with ICD-10. Statistical processing was performed using the software package Excel and Statistica 10. Results. Based on the analysis of presented data, we asssed basic indicators of health and the organization of outpatient medical care to servicemen who were enrolled for the ATO/JFO. Conclusions. This study suggests that the largest proportion in the structure of visit purpose at the OC was assotiated with therapeutic and diagnostic work, and the lowest - with registration documents for military medical expert comission. In the patients` visits structure, visits to General Practitioners (GPs) dominated compared to visits for specialist consultation. We established decrease of visit number to GP and its increase for specialist consultations in 2019. The number of visits to neurologist was higher than to doctors of other specialties. It is noted that by decision Military medical expert comissions the most of servicemen have been found fit for further military service.
