Abstract
The article deals with the issues of formation of assertiveness among the students of technical institutions of higher education as an important component of conflictological culture. The essence of concepts «conflictological culture of engineer» and «assertiveness» is analyzed. The author gives her own definition of «the conflictological culture of a person» as such that integrates knowledge (doctrine) about conflict and culture, guides to the ability of their practical application, provides skills of forecasting, avoidance, prevention and actualization of the solutions to conflicts in different life situations, ability to adapt in a conflictive environment, basing on cultural and social experience. We consider conflictological culture of future specialists of technical specialities as a component of proficiently important qualities of professional competence acquired in the process of studying at higher educational establishments. It is noted that during the formation of conflictological culture among the students of technical establishments of higher education, cultural, psychological, social, humanistic, cognitive components that must be exposed and mastered by a student (while studying both humanitarian and technical disciplines) with the help of innovative teaching methods are combined, and we believe that the assimilation of these components must take place simultaneously, which is the basis of the formation of conflictological culture. To the important component of the conflictological culture we include assimilation of the assertive skills by students with Master’s degree. The methodological approach to the development of trainings on assertiveness is described, and the examples of methods used by the author in her work during the trainings are given.
