Abstract
This article examines the global digital twin market and examines the key players in this market. The author reviews the application of technology in various industries: the nuclear industry, medicine and the mining industry in Russia and abroad. The author examines in detail the advantages of creating a digital twin at an oil field using the example of Gazprom in Khanty-Mansiysk. Talks about the prospects for the development of digital twins in our country, the need for their implementation in large production and logistics, as well as the obstacles associated with sanctions pressure and ways to overcome these obstacles. Methodology. The author uses methods of statistical, comparative analysis, and retrospective analysis.
