Abstract
The article presents the methodology and results of the study of the ethno-confessional situation in the Saratov region. As generalized criteria for the degree of tolerance are presented: the share of citizens who positively assess the state of inter-ethnic relations in the Saratov region, the share of the population of the region, who speak satisfactorily about the realization of ethnocultural rights and the final aggregate indicator of the level of tolerance towards representatives of other nationalities. Taking into account the data on all indicators, the final level of tolerance towards representatives of other nationalities was 76 %.
