Abstract

This study addresses the frequent use of Latin and Greek in fields such as medicine, law, art history, and religious studies. However, there is a lack of research on how these languages are used in professional contexts, underscoring the study’s relevance. The research methods were the comparative method and the historical method. The study sampled Latin and Greek lexemes in medicine, law, art history, and religious studies. The study concludes that Latin continues to play a significant role in the daily communication of various scholars.
