Abstract
In conditions of intensive load of agricultural production on the soil, in order to reproduce soil fertility, various non-traditional organic fertilizers are studied as an alternative to chemicals. The studies were conducted in the Chuvash Republic. The experimental plot is located in the agricultural production cooperative "Slava" of the Cheboksary district. The soil of the experimental plot is light gray forest, heavy loamy on loess-like loam. Climatic conditions are favorable for growing potatoes of the Gala variety, which in 2008 was included in the State Register of Breeding Plants in the Russian Federation and recommended for cultivation in the central and northern regions of the country. It is noted that it is rational to use both sapropel and lowland peat in doses of 15 t/ha, with the joint application of azophoska 200 kg / ha, which allows you to get a high potato yield.
