Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of implementing competence-based approach based on professional orientation training for the social sciences. The author analyzes the scientific views of other researchers to the key concepts of this problem, the types of foreign language competencies, applicability of various competencies in academic and future professional careers. The author takes in to account recommendations of CE for distribution of competences on General and Communicative Language elements. Conception of teaching of foreign languages in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and watching motion of her realization ground to assert her methodical loyalty. The article examines the questions of motivation of educating to the foreign languages. The study of foreign languages allows to future specialists from public sciences to cognize a culture, history, mentality of other people. The purview of knowledge of foreign language in modern terms broadens considerably and embraces the distance educating, possibility of viewing of foreign mass media, realization of principle of academic mobility of student. Text of the article contains the extended determinations of concepts “communicative competence approach”, “professional foreign language communicative competence”, “intercultural competence”, “professional foreign language reflective competence”. The author's concept is presented through the definition of“communicative competence approach” and the wording of competence and student and teacher of foreign languages. Mine-out conception supposes that for the teacher of competence must be presented on three levels: common knowledge of foreign language, knowledge of terminology in the professional area of students (to philosophy, history, political science), knowledge of methodology of teaching of foreign languages.
