Abstract

The article is devoted to the implementation of the programmed results of educational activities in the training system for future engineers. The study of fundamental disciplines, in particular physics, should contribute to the formation of skills for the interpretation of research results, the selection and application of the necessary research methods in their future professional activities. According to the analysis of didactic sources on the laboratory workshop by various authors, for example, on the topic «Determination of the viscosity of the liquid», indicates that it is usually carried out according to the following algorithm, namely:choose five to ten balls of approximately the same size, measure separately the time of their movement in the cylinder with the liquid, calculate the speed of each ball in the liquid, calculate the viscosity of the liquid for each experiment, determine the average value of the viscosity of the liquid, is estimated by known formulas for indirect measurements of the limits of absolute and relative measurement error to determine the viscosity of the liquid. There are also graphical and analytical methods for processing experimental data from different sections of the physics course, which, unfortunately, are not sufficiently used in the laboratory and teachers of secondary schools and teachers of higher educational institutions. One of the ways to achieve these program results is to improve the methodology for processing experimental data during the work of the practical part of the program. On the example of the work of the laboratory workshop «Determining the coefficient of dynamic viscosity of a liquid» the use of graphical and analytical methods for processing experimental data is proposed.
