Abstract
The article identifies that the processes of activating innovation activity and ensuring the innovative development of domestic rail transport are based on the potential of the system of organizational and resource provision. Disclosed components of the system of organizational and resource provision of innovation development of railway transport enterprises are revealed, in particular organizational and managerial, financial-economic, logistical, personnel, informational-knowledgeable and marketing-logistic components are highlighted. It is revealed that the primary role in activating innovation activity at railway transport enterprises belongs to the personnel. Personnel provision of innovation development should cover the whole process of personnel management, from its hiring and support to continuous development. It is determined that in the conditions of scientific and technological progress and continuous improvement of technologies both in engineering, and in management and economy, there is an urgent need for regular monitoring of scientific and technical information, which actualizes the necessity of introducing the system of information support and knowledge management as metaresource of innovation activity at the railway transport enterprises.
