Abstract

At the present moment, becoming full-fledged market participants, educational institutions are forced to develop appropriate risk management systems to minimize risk losses arising during the competition for profit. The aim of the work is to revise the traditional approach to assessing the effectiveness of the risk management system, taking into account the specifics of the activity of an educational institution of an agar profile. The novelty of this work consists in identifying the organizational and economic consequences of risk characteristic of individual subsystems of an agricultural educational institution, as well as in the proposed system for managing the consequences of risk events. The research on the stated problems is based on the methods of economic analysis, comparison and expert assessments. According to the results of the study, it was determined that an effective risk management system should be aimed at identifying the consequences of any type of risk, assessing the degree of their admissibility for the organization's activities, managing these consequences and minimizing them. The system of measures for managing the consequences of risks of an institution should correspond to the type of activity, direction and nature of operations, and should also include a monitoring mechanism that ensures timely communication of information to the management bodies of the institution.
