Abstract
The article is devoted to issues of future elementary school teachers’ professional training. Views of modern Ukrainian scientists on a problem of specialists’ training to musical and educational activity are considered. It is noted that modernization of the higher education has also influenced training of elementary school teachers who are highly educated, intelligent and competent. The last researches, different scientific authors’ works devoted to the solution ofproblems of future elementary school teachers’ training are analyzed. It is emphasized that musical and educational activity is considered in various aspects: as providing bases of the general music education and musical culture of younger school students; as organization of pupils’ music game and common educational activity; as extracurriculum musical and educational work with younger school students andmanagement of students’ music bands; as formation of younger school students’esthetic experience etc.On the basis of the carried out theoretical analysis the essence of elementary schoolteacher’s musical and educational activity as a difficult professional pedagogical activityaiming at training, development and education of younger school students by means ofmusical art is defined. Future elementary schoolteachers’ training for musical andeducational activity is considered as the complete, regulated in the higher educationalestablishments, formation, development and improvement of professional competences,creative abilities of future elementary school teachers.
