Abstract

In recent years, corporate ethical issues are attracting attention from all members of society and can be seen as having a impact on the rise and fall of companies. Now, the argument that business ethics regards as a source of sustainable competitive advantage is becoming a practical task, not just a declarative proposition. Therefore, business ethics has a influence on members of the organization, which affects turnover intention according to corporate ethical issues. It has been suggested that trust plays an important mediating variable in the relationship between business ethics implementation, supervisor ethical leadership and turnover intention. In particular, this study classifies the types of trust according to the target, such as organizational trust, supervisor trust, and examines that business ethics implementation, supervisor ethical leadership may have different effects on organizational trust, supervisor trust. Based on the social exchange theory, business ethics implementation can have a relatively higher impact on organizational trust than supervisor trust, and supervisor ethical leadership can have a relatively higher impact on supervisor trust than organizational trust. The data collected from 550 organizational members empirical analyzed the mediating effect of organizational trust, supervisor trust in the relationship between business ethics implementation, supervisor ethical leadership and turnover intention, and empirical analyzed differential effect of business ethics implementation, supervisor ethical leadership on organizational trust, supervisor trust. According to the analysis results, it was found that the business ethics implementation had a positive effect on organizational trust, but not significant effect on supervisor trust. In addition, it was found that the supervisor ethical leadership had a positive effect on organizational trust, supervisor trust. And, the results of the mediating effect, it was found that organizational trust has a significant mediating effect in the relationship between business ethics implementation and turnover intention, but not significant mediating effect of supervisor trust in the relationship between business ethics implementation and turnover intention. In addition, organizational trust, supervisor trust were found to have significant mediating effects in the relationship between supervisor ethical leadership and turnover intention. The results of differential effect showed that business ethics implementation has more positive effects on organizational trust than supervisor trust, and the supervisor ethical leadership has more positive effects on supervisor trust than organizational trust. Based on these research results, the management implications of business ethics implementation, supervisor ethical leadership, organizational trust and supervisor trust on turnover intention were presented.
