Abstract

Features of the lifecycle management process at an electrical network company are described, including a limited budget of repair programs, availability of legal costs, semantic heterogeneity of the subject area terminology, and a significant amount of accumulated historical data. An electrical network equipment life cycle period can be identified in which the total cost of equipment repairs will in the future exceed its capital replacement by new equipment with similar indicators. This gives grounds for drawing up a repair program and makes it possible to use not only technical, but also the economic and historical data of the production assets management system and the accounting information system. The aim of the study is to make the electrical network equipment life cycle management process more efficient by applying a decision making support system in managing the life cycle of equipment at electrical network companies with taking into account economic indicators. The existing electrical equipment life cycle management procedure based on technical indicators (the technical condition index, failure consequences, and failure probability) is analyzed. The equipment maintenance and repair schedule drawn up according to this procedure often includes equipment with overestimated indicators and entails excessive repair costs. The article presents an algorithm using which it is possible to determine the optimal replacement period for a group of homogeneous equipment at an electric network enterprise based on monitoring the change in the equipment state depending on repair costs. An ontological model of the electrical equipment life cycle management process is developed. A decision making support system in managing the life cycle of electrical network company equipment has been developed, the use of which makes it possible to reduce the costs in considering the electrical network equipment operation for the long-term future.
