Abstract
In this paper, we explored poems about Su-shi's second exile to Huizhou(惠州) with his youngest son Su-guo and explored the Taoist elements and imagination expressed in their poems. When he was ordered to exile to Huizhou(惠州) in October 1094, he and his youngest son toured Bi luo dong(碧落洞), Mount Luofu(羅浮山), and Mount Baishui(白水山) with their respective poems. The three famous places have something in common that they are deeply related to Taoist culture, but there is a legend about Taoist Ge-Hong(葛洪) in Bi luo dong(碧落洞), and Mount Luofu(羅浮山) is well known as a famous Taoist mountain. According to the records, the Mount Baishui(白水山) are located at the east foot of Mount Luofu(羅浮山).Su-shi and Su-guo's poems, which were left after touring the mountains, show many Taoist elements and traces of spiritual healing and sublimation through the literary formations of Taoist utopia and fantasy. From Su-shi and Su-guo's poems, it is clear that their journey to Huizhou(惠州) and their life after settling there were never moments of despair and fear, but experienced healing and true spiritual transcendence. Instead of denying and resenting the reality that they were in, they were able to create a new space for the living spirit in poetry and heal their internal wounds in such a space. This was possible because Taoist elements and imagination gave them healing effects, although the place they went to was a famous place related to Taoism.
