Abstract

The publication introduces D. I. Klenovsky’s notes, prepared by the poet on the eve of an inter-view with Yu. P. Ivask, which, in all probability, had never taken place. The notes contain biographical data on his life in Russia and abroad, and offer a description of the poet’s literary preferences, as well as detail his outlook on the state of literature, criticism and the balance of power in the emigrant circles of the 1950s.
