Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among experiential values of university general physical activity classes, satisfaction and sports participation intention. Toward this end, a total of 212 respondents was selected using a convenient sampling method and responded to the survey questionnaire. 202 usable data were utilized in data analyses procedure. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multivariate regression analyses with SPSS 23.0. The results of this study were as follows. Firstly, entertainment, escape from reality and educational had a positive(+) influence on the satisfaction, while aesthetics did not. Secondly, escape from reality, aesthetics had a positive(+) influence on the sports participation intention. while entertainment and educational did not. Thirdly. satisfaction had a positive(+) influence on the sports participation intention. Other than that discussions and additional implications were also suggested.
