Abstract
The article raises the issue of differentiation between the notions “artistic concept”, “literary concept”, “individual author’s concept”, of the diversity of the existing approaches to the study of artistic concepts in linguocognitology. For the first time by the material of the poetic works of the undeservedly forgotten Decembrist V. K. Kuchelbecker the methods of the identification and description of the nuclear concepts of the author’s artistic model of the world are demonstrated. Basing on biographical data, the literary-historical context of Kuchelbecker’s life, taking into account his political views, the paper describes the content of the HOMELAND concept with the identification of cognitive features in the poet’s understanding of Russia.
