Abstract

Background Oil extraction in oil fields with fractured and porous carbonate reservoirs which contain high viscosity oil is inefficient with the use of traditional methods. Thermal methods are the most perspective. Aims and Objectives Experimental studies of the process on core data from carbonate reservoirs and its reservoir properties on real samples from oil fields. Creation of method for process calculation of oil extraction from fractured and porous carbonate reservoirs. Results Significant intensification and increase in displacement coefficient during thermal capillary treatment are proved. Mathematical model and calculation method for bottom-hole formation zone treatment for high-viscosity oil are created.
