Abstract

The article analyzes data on the introduction of the course "Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics" in secondary schools of the Russian Federation in 2009, first in the form of an experiment, and then the results of approbation. Since 2012, the introduction of the Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics as a federal component of the school curriculum has been hailed as the greatest achievement in religious education in the last 30 years of Russia's pluralistic independence. The main problem was the problems of full implementation of 6 modules. This is due to the fact that the course covers the basics of law, teaching methods, the basics of traditional religious culture and secular ethics, and so on. contained. It was stated that it is impossible to fully implement the six modules of the FRCS model proposed by the Ministry of Education and Science, given that only 3 modules work in general education institutions.
