Abstract

This study is aimed to investigate awareness of Professional volleyball visitors by using big data of social media. To do this, blogs and news supplied by Naver and Daum were selected as analysis channels through big data analysis with a keyword of ‘Professional volleyball’ for data research. The data analysis period is limited to 10 years from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2015. For data collection and analysis, frequency and metrics data were extracted through Textom, a social metrics program, and the connection structure and degree of connectivity between words were analyzed using Ucinet6. For visualization, we visualize the network between words related to the keyword through the NetDraw function of Ucinet6. As the results of the analysis,BR First, various keywords recognized by consumers such as ‘professional volleyball’, ‘V-league’, ‘male professional volleyball’, ‘female professional volleyball’, match fixing, Samsung Fire, Hyundai Capital, and ‘volleyball player’ were extracted, which contributed to understanding consumers
