Abstract

The article discusses the G. Bayazitov’s relation to the reform of national school system. G. Bayazitov warns the public about the dangers of insensible reform, which ultimately could lead to the radicalization of Tatar madrasah students. G. Bayazitov realized the modernization of Islamic education as a system of religious education, which aimed to familiarizing the Muslim people with the values of Islam and to the achievements of human culture and civilization as well.
